What is Existential Detours?

Workwear for the work you are avoiding. The shirts look like they came off a job site. The job is internal. That is the whole idea.

Is this a real trade company? Burden Haul, Watts Plumbing, all of it?

No. Every company on these shirts is invented. Each one does a real job on the outside and names a harder one on the inside. If you have to ask which is which, you already get it.

Why is everything made to order?

Because printing a pile of shirts nobody ordered is how you end up with a garage full of them. Made to order means less waste and no dead stock. It also means your shirt gets made after you buy it, so it takes a little longer. Fair trade.

When will my order ship?

Most orders ship within 5 to 7 business days. You get tracking when it goes out.

Why are all sales final?

Made to order means your shirt did not exist until you ordered it. There is no shelf to put it back on. So check the size before you buy. If something shows up damaged or wrong, that one is on us. Email and we will make it right.

How do these fit?

Every product page lists the fit, relaxed or regular, for each color. They run a touch small. If you are between sizes or you like room, size up. Heavyweight cotton, built to last, not to drape.

What is Sunday Service?

A weekly reset for men. Longfellow Tower on the sand in Hermosa Beach, Sundays, 7 to 9am. Breathwork, a prompt to walk with, cold water, coffee. No priest, no doctrine, no fee, no performance. You show up, you get honest, you head home. That is it.

Is this therapy? Are you a coach?

I am not a therapist and I am not above any of this. I am a man doing the same work, in the middle of it, out loud. The brand is a mirror, not a pulpit.
